Suspect Wanted In Hit-And-Run

A road rage incident in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, has led to a hit-and-run investigation. The incident occurred on Sunday, October 6, 2024, around 9:41 p.m. in the 400 block of Park Avenue, Derry Township, near Hersheypark. The victim, who has not been named, was found severely injured along the edge of the road and was transported to Penn State Hershey Medical Center for treatment.

According to the Derry Township Police Department, the incident stemmed from a road rage situation. The victim and the suspect had pulled over, and when the victim exited their vehicle, the suspect intentionally ran them over and fled the scene. The suspect's vehicle, a silver or light gray late-model Toyota Sequoia, was last seen heading east on Chocolate Avenue (State Route 422).

The suspect's vehicle is believed to have damage to the front, especially the grille area, and possibly the driver's side, as the victim was dragged and thrown from the driver's side of the vehicle as the suspect fled. The Derry Township Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying the driver and is asking anyone with dashcam footage or any information related to the incident to contact them at (717) 534-2202.
