The incident occurred on Sunday (October 6) when a vehicle crashed into the Treasure Trove Toy Store on Second Street. The Dauphin County Coroner's Office confirmed that Forestier, who was believed to have been on a mobility scooter at the time, was struck by the vehicle and declared deceased at the scene. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday (October 8).
The driver of the vehicle, who was the sole occupant, was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.
