Elon Musk Ramps Up Campaign Efforts for Trump in Pennsylvania

TOPSHOT-US-VOTE-POLITICS-TRUMP

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and owner of social media platform X, has announced plans to increase his personal efforts to support Donald Trump's campaign in the lead-up to the November 5 election. Musk, who recently made a high-profile appearance at a Trump rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, intends to make more visits to the swing state in the coming weeks. His appearances will be backed by America PAC, a pro-Trump super PAC that Musk helped establish.

Musk's support for Trump was evident at the rally in Butler, where he praised the former president and urged attendees to vote. Following the rally, Musk joined Trump backstage for a tele-town hall event. He also changed his profile icon on X to an image of him wearing a black MAGA hat and added a link to the America PAC account in his bio.

In addition to his appearances at rallies, Musk has launched a new program promising to pay $47 to individuals who register voters in seven swing states, including Pennsylvania. The initiative is similar to a referral program Musk recently unveiled for Tesla, where buyers and their referrers are awarded credits that can be used towards Tesla products.

Despite having a complicated relationship with Trump in the past, Musk formally endorsed the former president following the July 13 assassination attempt on Trump's life. Since then, the two have grown closer, with Trump even suggesting that he might give Musk a job in a future administration.

The exact amount of money Musk has donated to America PAC is not yet known, but it is expected to be significant. The figures will be revealed on October 15 when America PAC details its spending and contribution records. Politico reports that Musk has been intimately involved with the group's activities.
