A pedestrian was killed when a car crashed into the Treasure Trove Toy Store in downtown Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Sunday afternoon. The incident, which occurred around 3 p.m., also resulted in significant damage to the store and the hospitalization of the driver. The identity of the deceased pedestrian has not been released at this time.
Jennifer Crocenzi, the owner of the store, described the terrifying moment to ABC27: “I ran, I felt the glass hitting my back,” she said. “I seem to be okay, we didn’t see the car, we didn’t see what happened. All we saw was the glass blowing in at us and where I sit is completely covered. I would have been killed.”
The Harrisburg Police are currently investigating the incident. Further details will be reported as they become available.
