Cristina Fazzolari, 38, co-owner of Mamma Ventura's Restaurant and Lounge in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, and her partner, John Anderson, 46, have been charged with multiple felonies related to the sale of drugs. The charges were filed by the Adams County Drug Task Force on Monday (September 30).
According to the ABC27 report, the pair are accused of selling cocaine out of the establishment. The investigation began earlier this year when the county's drug task force received information about drugs being sold out of the bar. In April, Fazzolari was observed by officers selling cocaine in an alley to the rear of the bar, with Anderson overseeing the sale.
In June, a search warrant was executed at their home in Orrtanna, where investigators found fentanyl, marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Two handguns, five rifles, and two shotguns were also found in the home.
Anderson admitted to selling the cocaine to pay for domestic relations, and Fazzolari was selling the drugs to help him out, according to the Evening Sun report.
Anderson is currently in Adams County Prison with bail set at $50,000, while a warrant was issued for Fazzolari’s arrest. Anderson has a preliminary hearing scheduled for October 9. Despite the charges, Mamma Ventura's remains open.
