The Lancaster City Bureau of Police has identified a 15-year-old student at McCaskey High School as the individual behind a series of online threats made against the school. The threats were initially posted on Monday (September 23) and continued into Tuesday (September 24). The police have identified at least three threatening posts shared by the student's account.

The student, whose identity has not been released due to their minor status, has not been charged at this time. However, the investigation into the threats remains active. The Lancaster City Bureau of Police is encouraging anyone with information about the case to contact them at 717-735-3300 or to leave an anonymous tip through Crimewatch.

The threats caused significant concern among the school community, but it is not yet clear what impact they had on the school's operations.
