Gettysburg College Student Involved In Racial Slur Incident No Longer Enrolled
(Gettysburg, PA) -- A Gettysburg College student is no longer enrolled as the school investigates a racial slur being scratched into another student's body. The investigation started last week following a report that a student scratched a slur into the victim's body using a plastic or ceramic tool. In a statement to The Gettysburgian, the victim's family said they hope "a heinous act can serve as a transformative moment" for the college. Gettysburg police say charges have not been filed, and the victim wants to let the college disciplinary process handle the incident.
