Voters To Be Allowed To Correct Mail-In Ballots
(Dauphin County, PA) -- Voters in Dauphin County will get a chance to correct errors on mail-in and absentee ballots this upcoming election. The county election board says voters who don't put their ballot inside the official secrecy envelope or sign the return envelope will be able to take part in a process known as "curing" to fix their mistake. Ballots with issues will be returned to voters with instructions on how to correct them along with new secrecy and return envelopes. The county says the program looks to help residents ensure their votes are counted this November.
