A 55-year-old woman tragically died at the Elizabethtown Fair in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday (August 20) due to a medical emergency. The incident occurred in the afternoon, according to the Elizabethtown Police Department.
Northwest Regional Police officers, who were present at the fair, responded to the situation around 1 p.m. They initiated CPR before handing over the woman's care to the Municipal Emergency Services Authority. Despite their efforts, the woman succumbed to her medical condition.
The Lancaster County Coroner's Office was called to the scene. Preliminary findings suggest that the death was medically related. The identity of the woman has not been released at this time, and the coroner's office declined to provide additional information.
