Inmate Walks Off From Work Release

Authorities in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania, are on the hunt for an inmate who escaped during a work release program. The inmate, identified as William Rosner, was last seen leaving the Cumberland County Prison at 9:45 a.m. on Monday (August 19). He was on a work release pass to purchase clothes for his assignment, according to the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office.

Rosner, 49, is currently serving a six-month sentence for a domestic relations warrant. His last known location was the Walmart in Carlisle. This marks the second time in two months that an inmate has walked off from work release in Cumberland County.

The Cumberland County Sheriff's Office is urging anyone with information on Rosner's whereabouts to contact them at 717-240-7322 during normal business hours. After hours, the Cumberland County Department of Public Safety can be reached at 717-243-4121
