Over 100 Treated For Heat Illnesses During Trump Visit Wait

Over 100 people were treated for heat-related illnesses at a rally for former President Donald Trump in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The event took place at the Farm Show Complex, where attendees had to endure summer heat while waiting for the former president's appearance. According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Fire Chief Brian Enterline, more than 100 people were treated by EMS personnel on-site, and 13 were sent to the hospital due to heat-related injuries. Firetrucks with big fans were brought in to assist in cooling down the crowd.

Despite the heat, no one was reported to be in poor condition. A Harrisburg City spokesperson confirmed to ABC27 that all those treated were in fair to good condition. The weather in Harrisburg on the day of the rally was in the 90s. The city officials are expected to make comments on the incident later this week.
