Retreat Collapse Leaves Local Businesses With Unpaid Bills
(Lancaster, PA) -- The collapse of Retreat Behavioral Health has left multiple Lancaster area companies with large unpaid invoices. Retreat closed the drug rehab and mental health facilities in Lancaster County and other states last month over financial issues, and their top two executives killed themselves. Local companies that provided food, supplies and services to Retreat are now facing the possibility of never being paid. Retreat also owes tens of millions of dollars to private equity investors and to employees who missed their last paychecks.
