Hunter Biden is Praising His Father

Following President Joe Biden's decision to withdraw from the 2024 presidential race, his son, Hunter Biden, has issued a statement praising his father's dedication to public service. The younger Biden, 54, expressed his admiration for his father's ability to empathize with the struggles of everyday Americans.

In his statement, Hunter Biden said, "He is unique in public life today, in that there is no distance between Joe Biden the man and Joe Biden the public servant of the last 54 years." He also asked Americans to join him in thanking the President for his service, adding, "Thank you, Mr. President. I love you, Dad."

President Biden's decision to step aside and endorse his running mate, Kamala Harris, has thrown the presidential race into a state of uncertainty. However, it also provides the Democratic Party with time to regroup before their August convention.

Hunter Biden's statement comes amid his own personal struggles, including battles with addiction and legal issues. Despite these challenges, President Biden has consistently supported his son.

First Lady Jill Biden also expressed her support for her husband's decision, with a spokesperson stating, "Down to the last hours of the decision only he could make, she was supportive of whatever road he chose."
