Pennsylvania State Budget Already Late
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania's next state budget is going to be late. State Senators yesterday said the new spending plan, which is due Sunday, won't be ready. Senate Majority Leader Joe Pittman said the Senate will be back on Monday. Lawmakers in Harrisburg are still negotiating over the state budget. Pittman said while there is a lot of work left to do, he's confident that they can find some agreement. The Pennsylvania House plans to work through the weekend.
