5.6 Million Motorists Expected On Turnpike During Holiday
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Millions of drivers are expected to travel on the Pennsylvania Turnpike through the holiday weekend. According to WHTM-TV, about five-point-six-million vehicles are projected to drive on the turnpike from today through July 7th. Turnpike officials say construction will be suspended during this time period to accommodate the increased traffic. There will be an increased presence of state troopers on the road as well.
