A boy's body was discovered near Stoever's Dam in Northern Lebanon Township, Pennsylvania, sparking an ongoing investigation. The boy was found unresponsive and face down in the water on Wednesday (June 19). The body has been transported to the Lehigh County Medical Center for an autopsy.
The Northern Lebanon Township Police Department responded to the scene around 9 a.m. after receiving a report of an unresponsive person in the water. Upon arrival, they discovered the deceased boy. The police have stated that this is an isolated incident and there is no threat to the public.
The investigation is being assisted by the North Cornwall Township Police Department, the Lebanon County Detectives Bureau, the Lebanon County Coroner’s Office, and the Department of Emergency Services. More information will be shared as the investigation continues.
