Man Sentence For Child Abuse
(Lancaster County, PA) -- A man could spend more than a decade behind bars for repeatedly abusing a toddler. Thirty-year-old Timofey Freint was sentenced earlier this week to up to twelve years in prison for severely injuring a three-year-old. Prosecutors said Freint caused a broken femur, internal injuries, and muscle damage along with bruises all over the child's body. Assistant District Attorney Jennifer Ponessa says the child may have been killed if the abuse continued.
