Shapiro Signs Paul Miller's Law
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Josh Shapiro signed a new law yesterday aimed at distracted driving. Senate Bill 37, also known as Paul Miller's Law, completely bans the use of cell phones while behind the wheel. The law honors Paul Miller Junior, who was killed by a distracted 18-wheeler driver in 2010. After a 12-month grace period, anyone caught with a cell phone in their hand while driving will be fined 50 dollars.
