Arrest Made In Shooting Of Child In Columbia
(Columbia, PA) -- Police have made an arrest in a weekend incident in Columbia where a three-year-old boy was shot. Police say 19-year-old Jayden Whitlock purchased the stolen gun that injured the child, and left it under a pillow in a bedroom where it was accessed by the boy. The child was seriously injured, and remains hospitalized after undergoing surgery. Whitlock is charged with child endangerment, reckless endangerment, receiving stolen property and evidence tampering.
