Momentum Builds For Start Of U.S. Women's Open
(Manheim Twp. PA) -- Momentum is building towards tomorrow's start of the U.S. Women's Open golf tournament at Lancaster Country Club. The years of planning since the last Open was held in Lancaster in 2015 are now being put into action, with thousands of volunteers set to assist. Yesterday was a practice round for the players, with some major news also revealed at the club. That was the announcement of Lexi Thompson that she will be retiring as a full time pro golfer at the end of 2024.
