>>Local Food Relief Providers To Benefit From Newly-Announced Grants
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A number of local food relief providers are among the 57 statewide who are set to be the recipients of a round of grant funding from the state. Pennsylvania's Agriculture Secretary Russell Redding on Friday announced more than two-million dollars worth of grants that he says are aimed at expanding the capacity of community organizations to supply fresh, healthy food to families in need. Among those organizations set to benefit locally are the Harrisburg Area Food Pantry, the York County Food Bank and Project SHARE of Carlisle.
