RJ Harris Emcees Event for Senate Hopeful Dave McCormick

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Dave McCormick visited Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, where he voiced broad criticisms of President Biden's administration. McCormick's campaign stop was part of his efforts to connect with local voters and discuss his vision for 'taking on Washington the Pennsylvania way.'

McCormick, who clinched the Republican nomination in last month’s primary spoke at the Farm at Eagles Ridge to supporters. Hosted by WHP580's RJ Harris, McCormick said he supports term limits. Some of his biggest criticisms for the Biden Administration has dealt with the influx of fentanyl into the country.

“The ingredients are coming from China, they’re being sent to Mexico, manufactured (there) and coming across the border” he said. “And it takes 48-72 hours for it to make its way to Pennsylvania. We have to stop it. This is a war.

McCormick was joined by Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt, who came to Pennsylvania to support McCormick's campaign. Both McCormick and Stitt share similar backgrounds, having worked in the private sector before entering politics.

"I believe that public servants, those elected, should come into office after having a career and a life outside of government. We shouldn't have career politicians," McCormick said during his visit.
