Lancaster County Votes To Become "Non-Sanctuary" County
(Lancaster, PA) -- Lancaster County Commissioners are writing their own resolution to counter a Lancaster City effort. Last month, the city voted to end its cooperation with federal immigration officials in order to potentially protect undocumented immigrants. Now, county officials have voted 2-to-1 in favor of becoming a 'non-sanctuary' county. Alice Yoder is the county commissioner who didn't vote for the idea. She tells WHTM-TV, she views the matter as a federal issue.
