State Agriculture Lawsuit Can Continue Against Dairy Farmer

(Lancaster, PA) -- A lawsuit filed by state agriculture officials against an Upper Leacock dairy farmer will be allowed to continue. A Lancaster County judge on Tuesday refused to dismiss the suit against Amos Miller over his raw milk sales. Miller has been the subject of federal and state efforts to force him to follow food safety rules, as well as get a permit to sell raw milk and register his business. More than 350 people wrote to the court to say how important Miller's raw milk products are to their families. Another part of the judge's ruling leaves open the ability for Miller to continue to sell his products out of state while the issue of transporting unpasteurized milk is challenged in court.
