>Amtrak Track Work Will Disrupt Harrisburg, Lancaster Routes
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Amtrak engineers will soon begin replacing train tracks between Lancaster and Harrisburg. A news release says the federal agency that runs the trains is investing 122-million-dollars to replace rails and other infrastructure that had reportedly been in place since the 1950s. Officials say Beginning April 8th and continuing through late November, 21 Keystone Service trains will not operate between Harrisburg and Lancaster from 8 a.m. through 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Substitute bus service will be provided in four daily round trips as well as adjustments made for commuter rush hours.
