Skull Found in Dauphin County Identified

(Harrisburg, PA) - A skull found in West Hanover Township four years ago has been identified as that of a missing woman. The Dauphin County District Attorney's Office says the skull belongs to 47-year-old Heike Leich, who was reported missing in 2007. Hikers found the skull in the 7800 block of Fishing Creek Valley Road in February 2020. Leich's disappearance was considered suspicious at the time. No cause of death has been determined at this point.
