Nearly Century-Old Church Sold in Cumberland County

(Harrisburg, PA) - A 96-year-old church building has been sold in Cumberland County. First Haitian Christian Assembly of Harrisburg purchased the church in East Pennsboro Township last month from Zion Lutheran Church. The site has two buildings that former leaders say were erected in the early 1800s. There are more than 45-hundered people interred in its graveyard with the oldest site dating back to 1811. First Haitian is moving from Lower Paxton Township. Zion announced the sale on Facebook.
