>Fewer Crashes over Holiday Weekend but More DUI Arrests
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania State Police say there were fewer crashes this past holiday weekend than in 2022. Their annual enforcement report shows officers responded to a little over 400 crashes, compared to 661 over the same weekend last year. Three people died in crashes over the holiday, and officials say none of them were alcohol- related. However, nearly 200 people were arrested for DUI, compared to 116 arrests last year.
