State Government Jobs Being Filled More Quickly
(Harrisburg, PA) -- Governor Shapiro's administration says state jobs are being filled more quickly now. State leaders say updated policies such as not having to take a civil service exam, considering a candidate's experience over their education and being able to offer people jobs on the spot have all contributed to breaking down hiring barriers. The administration says the improvements have led to Pennsylvania being ranked by Forbes magazine as one of the top employers in the nation by recent college graduates.
