New State Law Allows for More Retail Medical Marijuana Dispensaries
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A new state law will allow more retail dispensaries for medical marijuana sales. Governor Josh Shapiro signed the measure last week that will let licensed growers and processors open up to three dispensaries. The law also authorizes licensed dispensaries to apply for grower-processor permits. The law is designed to give smaller businesses a shot at competing in the state's medical marijuana market, which critics say is dominated by large corporations.
