>>CDC Releases Data On Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
(Atlanta, GA) -- Chronic fatigue syndrome. You may have heard of it, but you may not have realized how many adults in the U.S. actually suffer from it - until now. New data from the CDC estimates the condition affects about three-point-three million people in America. Study co-author Dr. Elizabeth Unger says the results clearly indicate chronic fatigue syndrome "is not a rare illness." Among some of the notable findings, experts were able to determine that cases were more common in women than men, and rates were higher in people between the ages of 50 and 69.
