Number Of Uninsured Children In PA Increased Over Past Year
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A new report says the number of uninsured children in the state has increased in the past year. The Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children says the rate of children who don't have health insurance increased significantly from just under four-and-a-half percent to five-point-two percent. The findings were included in the partnership's State of Children's Health report. Based on that data, Pennsylvania has the fifth highest number of uninsured children in the country.
