Turnpike Fees Will Be High for Thanksgiving Travelers

> Turnpike Fees Will Be High for Thanksgiving Travelers

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania State transportation officials say you need to budget for turnpike fees if you're traveling on state roads for the holiday. If you don't use an E-ZPass, you'll pay about 50-dollars in full-price tolls - one way - to Harrisburg. That amount can be cut in half if you use an E-ZPass. The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission approved a five percent increase last July, which will take effect on January 7th of 2024. Under state law, rate increases will occur every year through at least 2053.
