Suspect Linked To October Shooting That Left Harrisburg Kids Injured Now Behind Bars
(Harrisburg, PA) -- A suspect linked to a late October shooting in Harrisburg that left two children dead and a teen injured is behind bars. Police say 20-year-old Mandjou Sylla was arrested Thursday night. During that arrest, another suspect in the case reportedly opened fire at the officers as they arrived outside the home. No injuries were reported. However, the shooter fled the scene and remains at large. Sylla faces multiple felony counts of attempted-homicide and aggravated assault, as well as two firearms offenses. A second, 16-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene. Police say he will be tried as an adult. The shooter remains at large.
