It's part of the Tinder Select line of offerings, becoming the fourth, highest tier option. And in exchange for the expense, top tier users will be able to directly contact other users twice per week, even if they don't match. They will also receive a digital badge that shows off their "exclusive tier". While acknowledging this will likely impact a small number of Tinder payers, Bloomberg reports the company CFO said it should boost Tinder's overall revenue and profitability.
