>Pennsylvania Taxpayers Will Fund 2020 Election Results Audit by Iowa Firm

(Harrisburg, PA) -- State GOP Senate leaders say taxpayers will cover the $270,000 cost to have an Iowa consulting firm verify the state's 2020 election results. The review, demanded by a GOP subpoena, will be conducted by the Iowa firm Envoy Sage. The Republican lawmakers are moving forward with the verification regardless of an active court fight over its legality. State Attorney General Josh Shapiro and Senate Democrats have filed lawsuits to block the subpoena. The GOP has also asked for the Wolf Administration to turn over millions of voters' data, including nonpublic information in order to verify the results. A panel of Commonwealth Court judges is scheduled to hear arguments on both aspects at a hearing in Harrisburg December 15th.

>>Labor Officials Upbeat About Continuing Drop In State's Unemployment Rate

(Harrisburg, PA) -- Pennsylvania's unemployment rate is down two-tenths of a percentage point for the second month in a row. State authorities say that drop indicates that 12 thousand Pennsylvania workers have either found work or fallen off the unemployment rolls. That reportedly brings the state's official unemployed rate down to 6.2% from September's figure of 6.4%. One year ago, the same figure stood at well above seven percent.

 >>Two Hospitalized After Helicopter Crashed Training Exercise

(Lancaster, PA) -- Two people are recovering from their injuries after a helicopter crash at Lancaster Airport. Airport Director Ed Foster says it happened late Saturday morning when the helicopter's owner and an instructor were doing training and something malfunctioned. Foster says the flight instructor took control of the aircraft and attempted to land it at that time, but it crashed down near one of the airport's two runways. Because the runway was closed, the crash didn't affect airport flights. The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.

>>"Tiger Lady" Murder Victim Found In NJ Identified As PA Teenager

(Knowlton, NJ) -- The so-called "Tiger Lady" victim, who was found murdered in North Jersey 30 years ago, is finally being identified. Warren County Prosecutor James Pfeiffer says the body discovered in a wooded area in Knowlton is that of a missing Coatsville teenager Wendy Louise Baker, who was 16 when she was killed. She was called "Tiger Lady" because of a tiger tattoo on her leg. Baker's remains were discovered by hunters not far from the Pennsylvania border near I-80. Her death has been ruled a homicide.

>>Family Of Man Shot By PA State Troopers Seeks New Investigation

(East Stroudsburg, PA) -- The family of a 19-year-old Chinese American man shot and killed by police last year in Pennsylvania wants federal authorities to open a new investigation. Christian Hall's father says an assistant district attorney's insistence that this was a "classic suicide by cop scenario" doesn't hold any weight. A new video of Hall's shooting has been released to the public, and it doesn't blur out the final four seconds like in the previous footage. It shows Hall with his hands in the air before being shot by Pennsylvania State Troopers.
