Rep. Pat Toomey and Dem. Bob Casey Want Greater Oversight Of Nursing Homes

(Washington, DC) -- Pennsylvania's two U-S senators, Republican Pat Toomey and Democrat Bob Casey, are pressing for greater oversight of nursing homes. The move follows outbreaks of COVID-19 at nursing homes, including the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Beaver County, the scene of the worst outbreak in the state. The proposal by Casey and Toomey would add more than 440 troubled nursing homes to a federal oversight program
