PIAA Moving Forward With Fall Sports, No Fans

(Williamsport, PA) -- The Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association is confirming that the fall sports season will proceed as planned if guidelines set by the sports medicine advisory committee are followed. Officials say if a COVID-19 outbreak occurs then all the seasons could be pushed back to October, also local school districts will be allowed to make decisions on fall sports. The high school fall sports season begins with football starting August 10th with heat acclimation practices, with the rest starting on August 17th.
