Reading officials want a mini-casino

The Reading City Council is on board with allowing a mini-casino in the city.  The council voted unanimously yesterday to urge the State Gaming Commission to approve a mini-casino in Reading.  Mayor Wally Scott said there's no guarantee that a mini-casino will come to town, but he wants the state to know that Reading is very open to the idea.  The council resolution is a response to a measure recently passed by the state that allows for ten mini-casinos in the commonwealth.
