Former Pennsylvania governor Tom Ridge is resting comfortably and responding to doctors. Ridge's wife said Friday that he is recovering from a heart attack and is in critically stable condition in an Austin, Texas hospital. Michele Ridge also said it's going to be "day-to-day" for her husband, who was in a hotel for the Republican Governors Association conference Thursday when he called for help.
