Fracking spill confirmed

The state Department of Environmental Protection and the Fish and Boat Commission are confirming the spill of fluid from a natural gas fracking site.  They say over 60-thousand gallons of flowback fluid accidentally spilled into a small tributary of Loyalsock Creek early Monday morning.  Officials say the fluid from Inflection Energy's well pad on Yeagle Road in Eldred was released while it was being transferred from one tank to another.  Inflection Energy estimates about 63-thousand gallons of fluid was released.
