State Fire Commissioner Tim Solobay is reminding Pennsylvanians to change the batteries in their smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. The clocks go back this weekend and Solobay says when people reset them, they should automatically check their batteries too. The National Fire Protection Association says three out of every five home fire deaths involve a lack of, or non-working, smoke alarms.
