A new manager for the Phillies

The Philadelphia Phillies have found their new manager.  Jon Heyman of FanRag Sports is reporting that Gabe Kapler is going to be named the new skipper as early as Monday.  Kapler played parts of 12 years in the majors with six teams.  He managed the Red Sox single-A affiliate in 2007 and is currently the Dodgers director of player development.  Kapler is replacing Pete Mackanin, who moved into a front office role with the team.  The Phils were 174-and-238 over two-plus seasons with Mackanin at the helm.
