Ivanka Trump is pushing the Republican tax proposal in Bucks County. At an event in Richboro yesterday, the first daughter and special adviser to the President advocated for the expansion of the child tax credit to give working families a break. At the event, Trump said that the modern American family has changed drastically since the U.S. tax code was created, and American families deserve for it to be updated to account for those changes. She said the cost of raising children has increased significantly in recent years, noting that childcare is the single largest expense for many families.
