PA gets a REAL-ID extension

Pennsylvania is getting an extended grace period for the REAL ID program.  The U.S. Department of Homeland Security announced the move yesterday following the Tuesday expiration of a previous extension.  The new grace period will continue through January 22nd, 2018, and applies to entrance into federal facilities.  PennDOT says REAL ID-compliant driver's licenses will be available by March of 2019.
