Downtown Daily Bread in Harrisburg is going to be open overnight this winter. The facility, which provides food, clothes and counseling to the homeless, is opening an overnight winter shelter which will operate from December 1st to March 31st. The move is in response to the Bethesda Mission's reduction of beds this season. The organization is hiring four people to operate the new shelter and is accepting donations for the project.
