The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is adding 25 hybrid cars to its fleet. Officials announced the Hybrid Vehicles Pilot Program yesterday. The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources says the vehicles will reduce carbon and decrease fuel costs. The program will also give the commonwealth the opportunity to analyze the sustainability, maintenance issues and resale value of the new vehicles in the state fleet.
