Mayor and museum make up

Harrisburg Mayor Eric Papenfuse and representatives from the Civil War Museum are burying the hatchet.  Details of a deal will be announced today at the MLK Government Center at 11:30 a.m. Tension between the two sides began in 2015 when Papenfuse called the museum a "monument to corruption" and wanted to shut it down.  He claimed the museum is filled with artifacts that former Mayor Stephen Reed secretly bought with taxpayer dollars. Reed pleaded guilty to 20 counts of receiving stolen property in January.
