A woman is facing charges for allegedly hitting two state troopers. State Police say they responded to the Pocono Palace in Middle Smithfield early yesterday morning on a call of a woman yelling for help from the woods. That's where they say they found a drunk woman passed out. A police report says as they were investigating, Jessica Portera got upset and hit the troopers and resisted arrest. She's in the Monroe County Prison facing charges of aggravated assault on law enforcement.
