Jet service is landing at the Williamsport Municipal Airport for the first time ever. An airport spokesman made the announcement yesterday from American Airlines. Starting at the end of November, the Embraer 145 Regional Jet will take passengers from Williamsport to Philadelphia. The 50-passenger-jet will replace the Dash 8 turbo prop aircraft. The airport is working to create a new terminal to better accommodate the new jet.
